Tracking our Progress
Just the other day, Patty was saying, ¨we need to figure out some way to post our progress on a map to our blogs. Well, ask and Google delivers. They´ve just released an addition to Google Maps that lets us do exactly that.
So, now you can always see where we are and exactly where we´ve been (so long as we keep it up to date) on our own World Travel Map.
The past few days we´ve been playing the good tourists, checking out the different neighborhoods and going to lots of street markets. I´ve succeeded in my quest for the perfect mate cup:
We´ve been to the Buenos Aires Zoo, where we learned the difference between a guanaco and a llama, and saw the new baby snow tigers. Patty wants a pet guanaco quite badly. We looked for a stuffed guanaco in the gift shop, but they just had the standard lions, tigers, giraffes, etc.
Having an apartment in upscale Palermo has been very nice, indeed. Here´s the view from our (Gustavo´s) apartment:
